Sport and Recreation at King's
Recreation at King's is more than just offering intramurals. See all of what campus rec has to offer! Keep your eyes peeled for special collaborations with Student Association Clubs, as well as outside groups all over campus and beyond, including yoga, pilates, lawn games, or other great drop in style events.
Intramurals
The King's University intramural leagues and special events are opportunities to play with friends—old and new—in an environment that celebrates teamwork, mutual respect, and most of all, fun!
Join as a team or a free agent in volleyball, basketball, frisbee golf, futsal, table tennis, and more. Most of our intramurals programs require one person to register on behalf of their team and/or pay one total fee if required.
Workout Centre
Prioritize health and fitness during your time at King’s by taking advantage of the Workout Centre. The Workout Centre is judgement and ego-free environment — everyone is welcome to be active and improve their physical health!
Cardio
The Workout Centre offers numerous pieces of environmentally friendly cardio equipment including bikes, elliptical machines, and treadmills. Recent additions to cut down our carbon footprint include SportsArt ECO-POWR Green Fitness Equipment and a Samsara Fitness Trueform Runner Treadmill.
Cross Training
Cross training is a great way to increase your overall fitness level. Challenge yourself to try the multi-functional, wall mounted Cross Box Rig in the Workout Centre or mix in medicine balls, grips, and bars to get the most out of your workout.
Strength Training
Looking to increase your muscle tone, endurance or overall strength? Use the range of free weights, barbells, and dumbbells in the Workout Centre to reach your health and fitness goals.

Monday to Friday: 7:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: 7:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.
