Alumni & Community Chorus at King's

Looking to become a better singer and join a new community? King's Alumni and Community Chorus is open to anyone interested in choral music.

The Alumni and Community Chorus is a great way to develop and improve your choral techniques in a larger ensemble setting. Basic vocal technique are covered and members will acquire, or develop, sight-reading and listening skills.

The Chorus prepares and performs both accompanied and acappella sacred music from throughout the centuries. Repertoire includes varied styles and traditions; occasionally in languages other than English.

This ensemble rehearses once a week (Tuesday evenings) and performs their own concerts in Edmonton and beyond. The Chorus also performs in concert with King's concert choir, King's Cantorum, and King's Chamber Singers, once a year. No previous choral experience is necessary and no formal audition is required.
