Reconciliation & Hope

(Fall 2024)

A little over 10 years ago, The King’s University participated in the Truth and Reconciliation event in Edmonton as part of an I.S. conference. This began our university’s journey of reconciliation with the Indigenous Peoples of this land. Over the past decade we have worked on meaningful acts of reconciliation and community building—work informed by our identity as a Christian university.

At this fall I.S. conference we will take another step. As our Indigenous friends and community members lead us on a journey of storytelling and experiences of reconciliation we will gain a deeper understanding of each other and dream together about a more hope-filled future.
